Sometimes you don't need to go to the beaches to find a beautiful spot here on the Outer Banks. Sometimes the best location can be right in your back yard. Take this wonderful prom photo for example. From the rustic trail to the dappled sunlight it almost seemed like nature itself was coming together to create a quiet secluded get away just for our couple. However, I'll let you in on the secret. If you remember, I always say that "if the camera doesn't see it, it doesn't exist". Well, what the camera did not see this time was a wood shop, a couple of horse barns, and several box trucks parked behind me. I absolutely love being able to transport my viewer to a completely different time and place simply with the use of a camera angle or a creative crop. Again, "if the camera doesn't see it, it doesn't exist." and "the best photos always have a great story behind them."
