Rick and Kelly's Family Then to Now

In the fall of 2012 I had the distinct honor and privilege to photograph the ending of one era and the beginning of another for two wonderful people. Both Rick and Kelly left their single lives behind and began their new life as a married couple. I was lucky enough to have them choose me as their wedding photographer. 

A year later and I received an email. Kelly and Rick were coming back to the OBX for a vacation and they wanted me to do a family portrait for them. Best of all, they were not coming alone. I arrived at their rental home and was greeted by none other than brand-new Baby Max. 

By the summer of 2014 Max was a full fledged toddler. So when Kelly and Rick brought him down, I was able to capture his expression as he felt the sand between his toes with their dog Bella.   

The next year when I got another email from Rick and Kelly, I was delighted to find that their little family of 3 would soon be welcoming number 4. 

This past year I was introduced to Baby Lucy! And little Baby Max? You can see, he's not a baby anymore.   =-)

I guess what I'm trying to say is, I'd love to photograph your family the same way I've photographed theirs. It's wonderful to see couples become parents, parents become grandparents, and families grow year after year.
