Alright folks!
This was a fun one. This past June we celebrated Grandma’s happy 80th birthday with the Vonbeechann family. So when I was contacted about photographing the family as a gift for Grandma, I was asked if I might be able to create a diversion which would allow the caterers to create a wonderful picnic back at the house. And of course, being the good sport that I am, I jumped at the opportunity. When I arrived on site, the family was just finishing their photo prep work, or in this case, their hair. We set out for the beach to do our photographs. HOWEVER, due to the nor'easter that we had experienced earlier in the spring, the backside of the dunes looked pretty rough. Unfortunately the only place that we were able to set up the photos would be on top of the dunes. For the first half an hour of photographing, all grandma would have had to do is look back towards the house and the surprise would have been ruined. Luckily however she was so enraptured by her kids and grandkids antics, she never took her eyes off her family. The entire family was delighted when they returned back to the house to see the wonderful catering that had taken place while they we're enjoying their time in front of the camera.
This was one of my favorite memories from the spring and I hope you enjoyed as much as I did!
